Attend this meeting to learn about why meeting professionals need to know about the System for Award Management (SAM). Information about best practices related to System for Award Management (SAM) will be shared. You will also learn about why it is important to be SAM registered and gain a greater understanding about the rules and regulations for SAM.
Chris McLaughlin, CGMP over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and is currently the Global Sales Director for Sonesta International Hotels Corporation. In this role, he leads the government and military vertical by executing systemwide strategies across the enterprise for transient, group, and large contracts. McLaughlin serves as National 2nd Vice President for Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP). In addition, he is a leader on the GPTAC Lodging Industry Council for the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA) and participates on the FedRooms Hotel Advisory Council.
