Denise Reid, Hyatt Centric French Quarter
Denise, a thirty-three year hotel hospitality veteran, is the Event Planning Manager at the Hyatt Centric French Quarter for over thirteen years. She has received numerous awards, including the Meetings Today Magazine 2023 Hospitality Trendsetter National Award, 2022 Smart Women in Meetings Magazine National Visionary Award, 2018 Hyatt Centric Manager of the Year, 2018 HRI Lodging National Manager of the Year and 2018 Event Service Professional Member of the Year. Denise has published several hotel training guides for HRI Lodging and Sheraton Hotels. A professional hospitality speaker, Denise recently completed the Event Service Professionals Association(ESPA) Hotel Foundational Training Guide and the DEI Accessibility Toolkit for hotel, convention center and CVB/DMO event professionals. Denise is the 2023 national president of the Event Service Professionals Association(ESPA) and is also a member of Women@Hyatt, Hyatt B.L.A.C.K. Diversity Business and Resource Group and Loyola University New Orleans Alumni Association. Denise and her husband reside in Laplace where she volunteers as youth choir director at her local church and she is mom to a Mini-Schnauzer, Meech. When not creating memorable experiences for her clients, Denise enjoys reading, community volunteering, international travel with her husband and trying new restaurants.
