    Each year the Board Members of the SGMP La Chapter hold an annual retreat to plan the networking and education programs, review & revise the Chapter Operations Plan, and review Chapter Bylaws.  All SGMP La Chapter Members are welcome to attend the planning retreat and contribute to the mission and vision for the Chapter.  You must register to attend the retreat in advance if interested.  For more information email sharon@teamdyn.com

    Attend this meeting to learn about the possible roles in which all members of the SGMP La Chapter may serve.  An overview of the different committees and board seats will be provided.  There will be a discussion of responsibilities and time commitments for each of the volunteer opportunities.

    Summer Community Involvement Campaign!

    Attention all SGMP La Members! We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Summer Community Involvement Campaign: The School Supply Drive! ✏️

    With the new school year approaching, many students may not have access to essential supplies needed for a successful academic journey. That's why we're stepping up to make a difference! So you can donate School Supplies from notebooks to pencils to crayons to paper! Bring our donation to the June 27th or July 11th meeting. You can also help Spread the Word: Share this initiative with your friends, family, and colleagues! Together, we can amplify our impact and ensure that every student has the tools they need to thrive in the classroom. The students at the the Walter L. Abney Elementary School in St. Tammany Parish will benefit from the donations.


    Registration Fees:

    First/Second meeting(s) non-member attendees are FREE - but you must register!

    Attend this meeting to learn more about advancing the principles of advancing diversity, equity, belonging and moving to inclusion. The American with Disabilities Act Title III prohibits discrimination based upon disability during activities occurring in public spaces serving the public. Learn more about providing reasonable accommodations for meetings. Creating an atmosphere that welcomes all attendees including those with disabilities isn’t just about meeting the requirements of the ADA law but about diversity, respect, inclusion, and belonging. As leaders in the meeting planning industry, we must increase awareness and acknowledge that self-reflection is a key component to advancing the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We must examine the intersectionality of diversity with the meeting planning industry to create inclusive meetings.
